Must be able to attend occasional evening meetings such as local commission meetings. Occasional out of state travel required. Must have reliable transportation. Candidate must be able to readily adapt and implement program guideline changes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have 3-4 years of experience in employment of similar
nature, Knowledge of the Community Development Block Grant Program, State Housing Initiative Partnership Program, and HOME Investment Partnership program and/or other grant administration is required. Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public. Mortgage and Real Estate Background a plus.

Desired candidate will be detailed-oriented, accountable, organized, and have the ability to establish and meet goals in deadline driven environment. Must work well in teams as well as individually. Must be able to perform well with limited supervision.

Strong written, public speaking and presentation skills is a must. Candidate must have general knowledge of MS WORD, MS Excel, PowerPoint and databases.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Real Estate or similar is required.
